Alps-Epic- Trail

May we introduce to you: The Alps Epic Trail – one of the best mountain bike trails in the world. From the summit of Jakobshorn, the route continues for about 40 kilometres in the direction of Filisur. A magnificent backcountry terrain and a single-track ratio of more than 80 percent: That's what makes the IMBA Epic Trails so extraordinary. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind bike experience – and tackle Switzerland’s longest single track!

  • from Jakobshorn: 38 km, 615 m elevation gain, 2,070 m elevation loss

  • from Rinerhorn: 27 km, 340 m elevation gain, 1,315 m elevation loss

Duranna- Run

In the mood for an epic single track full of variety? The Duranna Run – with its almost 15 kilometres in length and around 1,900 metres of downhill fun – really offers everything that bikers and downhillers could wish for. From the Weissfluhjoch, the single track leads you all the way to Küblis. The high-alpine terrain, idyllic alpine meadows and challenging forest descents are a perfect blend of everything that makes a single-track adventure worthwhile.

  • Elevation gain – ascent: 79 m

  • Elevation loss – descent: 1,937 m

  • Length: 15.8 km

Gotschna Freeride

With a length of more than six kilometres, the freeride route from the Gotschna intermediate station to Klosters boasts 200 corners, jumps and waves – and it lets you experience one endorphin rush after another. The Gotschna freeride route is perfect for downhillers and bikers who want to improve their technique. You’ll have to experience its extremely good flow for yourself – and dash down the flowy descents on two wheels!

  • Level: challenging; single-track and off-road experience required
  • Length: 5.78 km
  • Downhill: 590 m of elevation loss

 

Technique Trail

A new challenging technical trail awaits bikers and freeriders on Jakobshorn. The Technique Trail from the intermediate station down to the valley boasts banked turns, obstacles, and technical sections: a biking adventure that is particularly suitable for youths and adults who want to finetune their technique in the open terrain.

  • Level: medium difficulty; suitable for beginners with basic experience

Trail tolerance

In Davos Klosters, we practice trail tolerance. This means that pedestrians and bikers are allowed to use the same trails and must therefore watch out for each other!

Fast, easy, effortless: The cable cars and lifts comfortably take you up the mountains in Davos Klosters – and afterwards, you can dash down various trails. From downhill action to easier routes boasting beautiful scenic views, or enduro tours: There are many reasons for transporting your bike by cable car or lift. Bikes can also be transported by train in Davos Klosters. We kindly ask you: When choosing the route, please keep in mind the operating hours of the cable cars and lifts, and show consideration for other guests.

Bike community

Where does the bike community like to meet up? At the Bolgen Plaza at the foot of the Jakobshorn or at Färich Bike Park with its Châlet Velo restaurant – the hotspot for bikers after a long day on the bike. Become part of the local bike community!
